Sex offender Gordon Stuckless faces new charges

Convicted sex offender Gordon Stuckless has been arrested yet again on new charges.

York regional  police say Stuckless was taken into custody this morning.

Among the charges against him,  five counts of sexual assault and four count of gross indecency.

The alleged assaults happened between 1982 and 85 while stuckless was a teaching assistant at a school in Richmond Hill.

On Friday, Toronto Police arrested Stuckless and laid 15 fresh charges against him related to allegations from five men who claimed they were abused in the 60s and 70s.

The Toronto Sun reports he was arrested for alleged sexual assaults on boys dating back to 1981.

Stuckless was convicted in 1997 for sexually assaulting 24 boys while he was an usher at Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens between 1969 and 1988.

He was arrested by Toronto police last month after two men came forward with allegations of sexual abuse dating back to the 1970s. The men were 11 and 13 at the time.

On Friday, Toronto police announced he’d been arrested again and faced additional charges after five more men came forward with similar allegations dating back to the 1960s and 70s.

Stuckless is facing more than 20 charges laid by Toronto police, including indecent assault on a male, buggery and gross indecency.

After his arrest by Toronto police last Friday, Stuckless was released from custody and is due in court at Old City Hall on May 3. York police chose to keep him behind bars.
